Why do people decide that they hate Britney Spears because of something they saw on the cover of a tabloid magazine? We don't really know her as a person and yet we talk like we know how to run her life. and why do so many girls hate her because she's sexy and then pretend like they never crank up Toxic, "3" or any other song that comes over the radio?

It just isn't the tabloids, it is the full spectrum of news coverage. We are all human and make mistakes, but if you know that the cameras are on you and you still act badly, you should be ready for some criticism. I think hate is a strong word, so let's just say that many people do not think she behaves in a responsible manner. I do not expect her (or other celebs) to be a role model, but c'mon, at least act in an adult manner when in public.

I love Britney Spears and I always will be but I heard that most people don't dislike her even those who aren't fans because they respect her talent. Is that true?

I don't hate her but for me I only buy the record/album if she performs – for me I like to see the music video, performance and hype as well as the song. Most of her songs are usually listened to on the commute or while I do dancing at class. I think she should get some vocal training cause she can but it needs to be controlled(maybe she's scared what the paps would say). the Grammys this year were a perfect example of how energy-less the awards are without Britney.

I am doing a paper in english about someone who had an effect on the arts and i chose Brintey spears. for our thesis we have to do topic+argument+support of argument with examples.
for example:
Kurt Cobain changed popular mucis in the 1990s by introducing the 'grunge' style of music to America's youth.

im planning on writing about how britney crashed under the spotlight, i just don't know whta thesis to put for that
