LinkedIn Corp., the professional networking site, now has a worth of $2 billion. This figure was arrived at after Tiger Global Management LLC, a hedge fund founded by Chase Coleman, paid $20 million for a stake, according to 2 unnamed people.

The deal worked out at $21.5 dollars per share for a stake of around 1% and apparently does not represent new investment, being from existing shareholders. the source of this has not yet been named as the sale has not been disclosed at this point. Private technology companies are currently under a lot of interest from hedge funds, private-equity firms and mutual-fund companies, eager to benefit when the companies go public, according to Ari Levy over on Bloomberg.

Back in November, singer/actor Demi Lovato began a three-month stint in rehab for what was termed “emotional and physical issues” — it was widely speculated that these issues included an eating disorder and self-injury (cutting). In the meantime, Lovato has completed rehab, and is going public this week with her story (two interviews are set to air on Friday). The cutting has been confirmed, as has the eating disorder, as well as depression and bi-polar disorder — in short, this very, very young person has been struggling for years with some truly horrifying demons.

Sometimes a complete stranger’s tale resonates particularly powerfully for me, and Lovato’s was one of those tales. I wrote about it when the story first broke, and have decided to re-up the post, because it touches on some issues that I feel to be far more important than we like to admit — in no small part because these issues are associated with women, and we still don’t value women very much.

Who is a christian alternative to demi lovato or we the kings?

i do a competition once a year called fine arts, it is a teen christian competition and my voice range is perfect for demi lavoto songs and we the kings… espessially the song "we'll be a dream" by we the kings featuring demi lovato. so if anyone has any bands or songs that are very close their music, or that song can you please tell me? thank you so much!

Demi Lovato is a free woman!

The Disney star has been in rehab since November, after getting into an altercation with one of her backup dancers at an airport. But after spending some quality time in the facility, Lovato is finally out and on her way back to LA, a source tells X17online.
