Brian Moylan — It was a big weekend for Gerard Butler. His movie Law Abiding Citizen opened at number two and he hosted Saturday Night Live. too bad both of them sucked. And now he’s on notice.

We’ve seen this sort of behavior before, most notably with people like Jude Law and Colin Farrell, guys who were made into leading men before they had time to prove that they had the chops for such a responsibility. Let lessons be learned from the past and let’s put Butler on probation.

Gerard Butler has teased it will be “challenging” to play a ladies’ man in his latest movie project.

The 41-year-old Scottish actor is about to begin shooting Playing the Field, a comedy about a former professional athlete who decides to coach his son’s soccer team before realising he cannot resist the feminine charms of his students’ stunning mothers.

Gerard Butler is confirmed as in for how to Train your Dragon 2 movie and it should be noted that among stars of the principal cast in original Gerard Butler is the latest actor to give the nod to return to the sequel. so this means that fans who had enjoyed the original will surely find themselves excited to see upcoming sequel for stars who had vocalized the characters in previous one will be returning to reprise their roles. Director Dean DeBlois appears to have manged to get on board usual cast for the follow up to adventure packed animation flick and ensuing the huge success of the original which had been quite surprising it had been an evident fact that there should be more to the story of young viking and his dragon friend.

For how to Train your Dragon 2 movie actor Gerard Butler will be seen returning to reprise his role of viking leader Stoick the Vast. this Scottish born actor had gone on to attract much attention from movie going crowds for his character portrayal in epic action adventure drama 300 and even before that he had been in the industry for a long time though he had not had the chance to come up with anything notable. however with a wide array of character portrayals included in his resume it should be added that throughout his career he had manged to deliver some fine pieces of acting and upcoming contribution in vocalizing department will surely be a one to watch out with awe and inspiration by his fans.

Dean DeBlois is pulling together the cast for his sequel to How to Train Your Dragon. most of the original cast has already been locked, including: Jay Baruchel as Hiccup; Craig Ferguson as Belch; America Ferrera as Astrid; Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Fishlegs; Jonah Hill as Snotlout; TJ Miller as Ruffnut and Kristen Wiig as Tuffnut. Now Gerard Butler has been confirmed to return as well, and cinematographer Roger Deakins will once more be on board to supervise the lighting work. (Many people don’t realize he had anything to do with the first film, it seems. great that he’s back.)
